Jennie took piano lessons for seven years and then took up playing flute in the band. Her brother played trumpet and was in an awesome rock band through college. “I thought he was the coolest.”
Jennie and her husband, Jonathan, have been married for 13 years and together 19. Almost high school sweethearts. They have two spirited children, Koralie and Max. Jennie came to Austin after college at Southwest Texas. She had tried going home to Houston but wasn’t feeling it. Now it’s been 15 years here. She worked for Enterprise Rent-A-Car for seven years managing locations and doing loss control. Real estate/Chris Sackett was calling her name and she was ready for a change.

“I’m not a huge sports nut but I cheer for all Houston teams.” Jennie even got to march with an all star band in the Rockets parade after their championship in the ’90s.
Jennie’s real obsession has been soap operas. She got hooked early and never stopped.
Jennie loves a good frozen margarita made with Deep Eddy Lemon as the special ingredient. “My weaknesses are many but among the top are sweets, shopping and grab machine games.”
